​Position Description

​​

We are seeking well-qualified individuals to join our Transportation Brokerage as freight agents. Must be reliable, energetic, flexible, and willing to work.

You will be part of Erving's Connect Logistics team led by our Director of Operations. You will provide transportation arrangement services to customers and carriers. Erving's Connect Logistics will run your back office, pay your carriers and bill your customers while you focus on building your business. 

We are looking for a candidate with excellent time management skills, good work ethic, communication skills, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude. Come join a great team of people and help our brands cover the world.

Average Day a Broker Agent

​

• Send out daily email blasts to all your customers

• Answer incoming calls

• Checking load boards

• Updating loads

• Providing shippers with quotes for loads

• Receive calls and emails from carriers

• Watching load boards

• Calling carriers as new trucks are posted

• Prospecting and setting up new accounts

• Calling existing customers for new and next-day loads

• Posting loads, and taking calls from carriers and shippers

• Taking calls from carriers

• Preparing for tomorrow
